Fresh start and Partners for Youth Outreach High Schools

Fresh Start & Partners for Youth offer an opportunity for students to have an alternative to a high school classroom setting to reconnect with education in a meaningful, personal, and supportive manner.

Our goal is to offer high school courses and support services to help students overcome obstacles and develop behaviors that will help them become educationally and personally successful to achieve high school completion.

Expectations

In outreach the student takes on more responsibility for setting goals and completing work on their own. Students should be able to work independently for the most part, with the teachers assisting the students one-to-one or small groups.

Students are expected to contribute to the positive nature of the program by acting in a mature manner. The atmosphere is suitable for motivated, independent people who want to further themselves by taking advantage of educational opportunities.

Due to the nature of the program, students with learning or behavioral needs will be referred to a more appropriate setting.

At Fresh Start or Partners for Youth, students can complete high school. Outreach programs can be transitional, providing the student with the means to continue their education in a community high school.
